I saw a bit of a debate on Twitter.
Does anyone else think that some of the stories are completely made up just for hits?

Definitely. I've read loads about how he wants out and that he's interviewing for every job going, release clause, etc, etc. Someone says something, it gets discussed on the boards, mentioned on twitter, WOL picks up on it, and it suddenly becomes true FACT!

Load of old boIIocks most of it.

Don’t know what to believe now Sky have said Silva is the only manager Fulham have spoke to, but I do think he may have had an interview with Palace.

I don’t believe he desperately wants out but I’m certain he will be demanding and upgraded contract, once the Palace and Fulham positions have been filled then I hope we will here from him/the club.

It’s always been known as the silly season but it seems sillier than ever.

It’s definitely silly if we end up with the cock for another season

So to recap some of the stories which are true, Coopers the new Spurs Boss and Ayew is playing for PSG. They will be saying next that Cheap Trick are opening Swansea's new Dora's :

File under horse sh!t💩
Well, until it actually happens.

Nailed on the Palace if Viera changes his mind.. I hope

While football absolutely is a results business its not just results in terms of scorelines that matter, the results in respect to the style of football he has (un)successfully managed to bring out of our players is almost as important and in that respect Cooper has failed. Last season was a chore to watch and sometimes I even found it hard to tune in to watch our games and even then usually with ipad close by since it was impossible to give the fare we were served up my undivided attention.

To be honest at this point I wouldn't exactly be screaming off the rooftops if we gave up on the compo and just terminated his contract anyway so that we can bring in a fresh way of thinking.

If he’s desperate to leave he will have to resign, we’re back in for pre season Saturday ffs, some sort of clarification needs to be said tomorrow IMO.

Twitter is full of bull. Most “rumours” are taken as gospel on there and usually spread and beloved by the younger generation. I think most older swans fans have learnt not to believe anything until it’s signed, sealed and delivered. I can’t imagine how much the Twitter kids would have lost their sh1t if they were around during the Dean Leacock saga :?

Even further back we had the David Seal transfer!

I can’t remember ever having so little interest in an upcoming season as this one. The thought of watching more Cooperball is as uninspiring as it gets.

I’m praying someone is stupid enough to take him off us or he resigns / we terminate his contract by mutual consent.

No one really knows exactly what’s going on but with a fair amount of certainty we can say that Cooper has been interested in taking other jobs but our compensation demands have been a stumbling block.
