All the rumours about Cooper

I can’t remember ever having so little interest in an upcoming season as this one. The thought of watching more Cooperball is as uninspiring as it gets.

I’m praying someone is stupid enough to take him off us or he resigns / we terminate his contract by mutual consent.

No one really knows exactly what’s going on but with a fair amount of certainty we can say that Cooper has been interested in taking other jobs but our compensation demands have been a stumbling block.

Choice between 12th but scoring goals and playing good football and 4th and a shot at the play offs? I'd be sorely tempted to take the former

I made a tweet the other day that said simply that most people who like to claim they are "ITK" are as far removed from being "ITK" as it is possible to me. And ironically most people who genuinely are "ITK" have no desire to prove it :lol:

Ideally we'd have both. But getting in the play offs has got us to the square root of fuck all. Did you have more pleasure in the last two seasons than we did under Martinez in 07/08, Potter in 18/19?

Then again you probably enjoyed Monk's full season far more than Laudrup's league finish.

Getting to the playoffs is fairly pointless if the man in charge shits himself before the game and sends his team out to cower in their own half during the final.

Give me twelfth place, playing decent stuff with the impression that we're building towards some semblance of a long term plan to progress instead of Cooperball.
