Hopefully he'll play against us, it's looking increasingly like Grimes was pretty much disliked by his teammates in the end, he seems to have let his ego run away with itself. Hopefully his actions will have galvanised the rest of our squad now. Also giving Cabango the armband could be the making of the lad.
The king is dead, long live the king...
I hope he does play and we kick him all over the park.

No. No, no, no.

It is in fact contained within the laws of the game - Chapter 6, Section 4, para 2b:

"A player shalt score against Swansea the very first game they face them after their departure".

Danny Graham left here and was basically clinically dead for 2 years, then pops up with a goal for Hull down here on his first appearance back.

We don't want Grimes anywhere near that pitch on Saturday.
Oh yeah, even Sam (arse from elbow) Clucas did it. Good point, well made.

Very blunt announcement from us.

Looks like he has pissed a few people off.
Wondering if the rumours of players walking out the room in his farewell speech on Tuesday are true.

Think we are stooping a little low with that announcement

He's a snivelling snake but we should show a bit more dignity

Swansea City can confirm the departure of former-captain, Matt Grimes, who has joined Coventry City for an undisclosed fee, subject to international clearance.

Grimes has been an important player for the Swans since his arrival from Exeter City in 2015, making 333 appearances in total.

During his time he made significant contributions, including performances in the Premier League and consistent displays in the Championship.

His dedication saw him miss just four Championship fixtures over six-and-a-half seasons. He was named club captain in 2019.

No thank you for your efforts or good luck for your career.
Pretty much a statement that tells him to fuck off
