• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Christ, this thread is getting new nutters to sign up, to add to the nutters already on here.

I don't think people should be called nutters, just for honestly expressing their views. I really do get the impression, that many people are not being honest with their true feelings on most subjects, they would rather go with what shall we say the government indoctrinated mindset, than speak their own mind, I would imagine just for fear of ridicule.

I have seen it before, say for example covid and the lockdown laws, when I was going out getting shopping, it seemed everyone I spoke to, was fed up and peed off with it. Yet go on an internet forum, and the majority seemed to be towing the government line. So I deduced, it was not real, how can people act like that on an internet forum, yet out in the real world they don't.

I think people say what they think other people like to hear, not what they are really thinking.

I went in the club shop today and paid with the chip from my covid jab no problem at all

Like I'm no conspiracy theorist

Well we’ve established that you think climate change is a hoax and/or scam, you think the moon landings were faked and now there’s this cashless stuff and you’ve mentioned the WEF a few times. For someone who isn’t a conspiracy theorist yiu ain’t half ticking a lot of the boxes.

Pfft. You sound like you have a government indoctrinated mindset.

Cashless is a bit bonkers to be fair when you are potentially missing out on sales especially when the payment service is down. By all means encourage cashless payments but don't restrict one means of payment. The guy who recorded himself - what on earth was he thinking?

I'm not open for your gaslighting today fella, try again tomorrow.

Is gaslighting the new woke in terms of people using it without understanding what it means?

Well I still think the bloke had a point but his attitude was a bit OTT.

….. and I’m no conspiracy nut but I do think cashless does slowly siphon money out of the population’s pocket.

But it is convenient.

You're alright are you fella?

You should try and engage in adult discussion on here now and again, may feel less inclined to shout from the sidelines?

Hmm, you are correct, bit gutted to be honest, initially when i read that, I thought you have to be wrong, yet I have looked up the definition of it, and it seems that even if you believe a conspiracy theory, you then become a conspiracy theorist according to the Cambridge dictionary.

Although I would question that, who actually thought of that, it doesn't make sense, like I would say David Icke is a conspiracy theorist, yet according to Cambridge dictionary, you are as well if you agree with anything he says.

So you could sit down in your house one day, and decide the moon landing was fake, you then according to Cambridge Dictionary, are now a conspiracy theorist, ha ha utter rubbish.

Wages paid into bank accounts (mostly).
Pensions paid into bank accounts.
Welfare payments paid into bank accounts.

90% of the adult population now own a smart phone.

The number of people who want to use the clubshop, without access to a bank card must be tiny. The number of people who don't want to use a bank card to prove a point, who knows.
