My understanding is that she ignored to closure notice so the authorities are going to court to get it enforced. She only has to do a COVID risk assessment. She’s a twat.

I'm in full agreement ECB and hope she gets the book thrown at her.

I do have to admit my respect for her as a businesswoman though. Not only has she convinced people to spend stupid sums of money to sit on a pallet and watch films they can see at home, but she's spotted that by pretending to be a crusader for peoples' rights, she can avoid doing any work to enforce Covid regs while making more money through gullible people than she ever could have otherwise.

It's morally repugnant, but brilliant business if you're ruthless and don't give a shit.

I clicked on that article, pretty poor reporting from WOL (standard), but what I note is on the timeline 17.26 There is a large police response.., what to stop people watching a film? ha ha ha.. Well pity there wasn't a large police response initiated when the Mayhill riots were taking place, when they were actually needed. Disgusting..

£50k.

That makes me sick.

There is a mother of two living in the Ferry, her house caught fire and she lost everything on Bonfire night, including a couple of her pets. Her donation page has raised £200 odd quid.

The donation page is now at £410. Most of the donations are between £5 and £20, which suggests to me that it's the people with less money who are willing to give a helping hand. I could be wrong.

I can see her getting away with this as no judge in this land will rule on this case just in case they get it wrong. I believe this case has been adjourned twice already and another hearing is scheduled for next week. Thrown out with no case to answer i reckon then she'll go after civil claims against the council and police. just my two cent.

Hold the line.
