• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

The latest WOL article describes how the authorities changed the cinema's locks while she visited her terminally ill mother. This is superb entertainment for the neutral.

I've watched several bands there over the years and watched a few films too but they'll never get another penny off me. What an odious business they've revealed themselves to be over this whole debacle. They've attacked anti racist organisations and hosted far right ones. Now they think they can play the victim on that front too rather than addressing why they were cosying up to fascists and covid deniers. Its going to be funny when they go out of business in a few months time after swapping out their customer base of liberal, hipstery indie swansea folks for antivaxxers and anonymous racists. Someone should tell them that anonymous facebook bots in conspiracy forums dont spend money

Adjourned until this afternoon.

Well I won’t be going there, I wait the 5 years until the films are allowed to be shown on the television and I can watch them for free.

Works for me.

Most of the films they show there are much older than 5 years.

The big question is will she dutifully comply, or try and become a martyr-ish (she probably has North of £60k crowd funding available?). Personally, I suspect the latter...
