All private showings remain on, and further private bookings are available.

Maybe that mixed message can be explained away by them requiring fewer staff for private showings?

I'm sorry to hear about her mum. No doubt the pressure of that situation will be affecting her bizarre decision making. Hopefully she will take the time she needs to focus on her family and stop digging.
