Yep, absolutely should not be captain.

Just out of interest, does anyone think that he should be captain? I can understand people arguing for or against his playing ability, but I don't see many (any?) people saying that he is a good captain...

I tend to agree. I don’t have many complaints about his general ball playing. However, if you ask about set piece quality or his on the field leadership then I think he falls short of requirements.

No, he had obvious talent, just because he wasn't much of a tackler, everyone in the UK thought he was crap.. he did win player of the year in the PL instead of the 3 yard slower Championship an all.. walks into this team on crutches
