January Transfer Rumours

No, I think fans are largely fed up of seeing the club's money wasted on below average players and coaching staff. And would much prefer investments were carefully planned within the club's budgetary constraints. How dare they.

Perhaps the frustration is that we could easily get Low and the increased salary for Darling if we didn't waste god knows how much on Pedersen?

Generally the nature of football fans. I don't think anyone expects us to win every game but I think people expect us to do our best for the shirt. Like every football fan in the land.

I'd imagine the expectations are similar to before the Prem days. I don't see anyone saying they expect us to be challenging at the top but they expect us to be showing better than we are. And that's not just on the pitch.

No of course but as above, perhaps Williams should say less (e.g. Rushworth will be back next season, Darling not fit perhaps for next weekend but we took him to Southampton etc...)
I just want to watch 90 minutes of football on a regular basis and think to myself I really enjoyed that, win lose or draw.

Fair points and not gonna argue as think you (and Smurph et al) are decent posters

What's your prediction for sat?
We've all got the best interests of the club at heart and get equally frustrated when things aren't going so well.

Eight nil to us 😉

Christie nailed on hat trick with two assists from Naughton 😂
We can dream

In all seriousness, we need Watford to turn them over tomorrow otherwise they'll be buoyant I think

If we can get either Cabango or Darling back I'm fairly confident.

Naughton playing centre half doesn't scare me as much as Christie.

Ideal scenario is Watford batter them and we sign Low in time for the weekend.

I can't imagine darling and cabango are both another week from being fit, rotten if so but it must be mind games

Coleman has bloody on his hands otherwise if he isn't willing to pay the money for low

I honestly think the Low delay is due to their manager going to Wycombe think he’s going to go there with him.

Exactly.
Entitlement is utter bollocks. 50% of my supporting "career" has been spent in Division Three or Four.
I just think that we are entitled, for want of another word, to see Swansea playing like they want to play for us. And that includes everyone else connected with the playing side.

I swear there are people out there in our fanbase convinced that the way we play is the only way to play passing football. The bloke in front of me at the stadium seemed to think that we had no option other than to tediously recycle possession from flank to flank because "That's how we play" during the WBA game.

We had a robust debate.

We've been dull as ditchwater to watch for probably not far off a decade now. Starting with Monk's vandalism in the Prem. There have been vague flashes of improvement here and there in the interim, but probably since Cooper it's been almost wall to wall tedium.
I'd include Cooper in the tedious football category
