• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

Spunking good money after bad on Pedersen and not willing to pay £750k for an up-and-coming current Welsh international centre-half just about sums us up.

We desperately needed to replace Ryan Bennett as the club millstone.
I’d like to put my name forward for this role in the summer and receive £20k a week, train at the gym everyday, eat free food in the canteen and play no games.

Cyril the Swan has had more impact on the pitch than that fud! ...

Low out muscled for the Hudds first goal..needed to stand his ground there and jump

Yup.

The new owners will of course say they're not willing to pay what they consider to be over the odds for a player in this window. Fair enough. Whatever.

Meanwhile, some other club will push the boat out and sign him, leaving us falling further and further behind, while some clown in Fairwood fiddles on Champ Man on his little laptop, unearthing the next Nelson Abbey for us.

T'was ever thus.

Aye no doubt picking up Nelson Abbey's wages for the last 5 months would have cost us upwards of 40k at least, money well spent

Well that was a hard watch -

Duff's pick and mix football

Kone was never in the game and got subbed

Low looked assured without being spectacular possible potential though

For me...Wycombe LB Harvey looked very good. Sign him up 🦢

Seems like little has changed. Yet anyway!

I thought Low Looked more like a cabango type than a Darling type.
