• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Luke Williams - Jack Army Poll

How long would you give Luke Williams?

We’re are mid table, a little flurry of wins and we’re in playoffs territory.

Maybe it’s because I watched us when we down the bottom and am not so entitled.

My guess is this is a lot to do with a new breed of fan.

We've spent millions on our players and management.. we're not dealing with your lower league, 2000+ crowds you berk..

This 'little flurry of wins' you mention, any idea how we achieve that with the current performances?

Also, I have been watching us since 1964 (Norwich home, 0-0 draw) so not so entitled either. (y)

Let’s wait and see. Come back to me in a few weeks.

We had some good results up untill 3 weeks ago. 3 away games since, one with a make shift team....feels knee jerk to me 🤷‍♂️

Just seen this. Hasn’t helped your cause really. Most on here have been around for decades.

I can spot those posters. It’s the hysterical ones that are new.

There are many posters such as yourself who I can respect and will argue their viewpoint well.

This is a problem with a forum nuance isn’t there and it gets derailed.

I’m not a Luke Williams fanboy btw I’m simply arguing for time. As I’ve said I might be wrong and if I am feel free to extract urine.

I’ll go back to it, whatever is successful. I’m just very skeptical that we could end up in a worse place. But I might be wrong.

You couldn't spot your own arse using both hands.

I’m not really arguing that he should or shouldn’t be sacked. The sad truth is that I don’t much care either way these days. We’re a club in decline, only going one way and you could put Klopp in charge and it would make little difference. The endless parade of turgid managers amd intensely boring attempts at football since relegation from the Premier, of which Williams is the latest, has done for me. But I still fucking hate losing to the vermin so anyone who’s angry tonight, well that’s just fine with me.

What does 'Sacked after before the window closes' mean?

I watched us when we at the bottom as well, went to Rochdale last game of the season before we had to apply for re-election. This guy is not getting a tune out of these players. They are not the greatest, but not as poor as what Williams is making them look. Cullen has been playing quite well behind the striker of late, so where does he play him today? His in game substitutions are woeful and very rarely impact us favourably. His tippy tappy snail pace football is pathetic. Every time a player receives a pass they instinct is to play it backwards or sideways and let the opposition get organised. Hull was bad, Portsmouth worse, but today was the final straw for me.

I voted to give him another couple of games. I'd not be bothered if he were gone tomorrow but taking the season into account we've got nothing to gain/lose firing him
