Did we improve our squad in the Championship window? - yes we did. Did about 10 other clubs also improve their squads at the same time? - yes they did. It would be great if we were the only one who could buy players but unfortunately it doesn't work like that.

The only thing we do know is that we're going to have an enjoyable season because we have zero chance of relegation and a reasonable chance of a play-offs position, and that's fine by me.

We are still bottom half in terms of attendance/resources etc. I cant fathom that the majority of our fan base choose to overlook this. Our ceiling is playoffs. Always has been and always will be.

I was agreeing with your post. Sheehan is indeed doing fine. Unlike our former manager who would excuse a lame performance on the basis that we played with ‘intensity’. Not even sure what that word means in football, to be honest.

I've gone for the playoffs. After the superb transfer window, I'm confident we're now moving in the right direction and happy to repay my faith in the team with an ambitious prediction. We'll definitely surprise a few teams this year YJB

I think based on what we’ve seen under Sheehan both this season and last, we know we’ll be half decent defensively and be able to pick up points both home and away. I think lack of goals could potentially be an issue if VPs form ends and Idah doesn’t hit the ground running.

Going with 9th, I think our defence and solid depth will help us across a 46 game season. Need to find some goals from somewhere though but gotta give it time to click.
