Random thoughts:
- We were average, Norwich poor.
- We have to create more and better chances, Vipotnik continuing to score these type goals at this rate isn't sustainable. He shouldn't have been taken off, it gave Norwich impetus who were shit scared of him.
- Stamenic could easily have got sent off first half, last man, studs up.
- Widell very bright again besides one moment of stupidity when he tried a ball to Idah and got it wrong but he was in acres of space and just needed to hold onto it.
- WTF were the half time dinosaurs about?
- Darling didn't hang around at the end did he. Fair play to the Norwich players who did have the balls to take their fans wrath.
- Vigoroux is in the top 5 keepers we've ever had.

Surprised a little by how much sh*t Eom is getting.

He wasn't great, but he played his part, including playing in Vip for the 2nd goal - I get it wasn't exactly a worldie assist, but he got the ball out quickly to Vip when he could have dicked around with it, and giving the ball to Vip ASAP is a pretty good idea in my book right now. He had some runs at the Norwich box as well, his crosses were sh*t, but join the club. He's under the same general attacking malaise as the rest of the team, Vip aside, so not sure why he needs to be singled out today.

It’s not always a great stat to use but it indicates how a team is in front of goal. Us for example, we tend to have pretty low XG stats so when we score more than one in a game, you know we’ve been clinical. If you look at Southampton, their XG as a team is pretty high but they’re down the bottom so that would indicate that they’re missing a load of chances or their defence is really poor.

It isn’t the be all end all but it can give you a general picture.

It’s clearly far better than shots off and on target which has been flashed up on TV screens and in match reports in decades.

I think some people don’t like it either because it’s ‘new’ or because it’s not ‘exact’ - which it obviously won’t be.

It’s a useful metric for those who like that sort of thing and more accurate than many other stats over the course of a season.

If you’re only interested in the result and not how it was achieved that’s also perfectly fine - I don’t understand why people get so worked up about things they don’t like when it has no impact on them (guess that’s society not just football though )

At 10 and yes I know have said he is not a 10 but from what I have seen in his last 2 cameos, he might do a job there.

An improved performance but Vip has pulled us right out of the shit with 2 wonder goals.
Ronald in the first 20mins is what I expect/demand on a permanent basis. Loved seeing him burst forward at pace!
Widdel has to start, a nuisance with clear quality.
