Anyone else notice one of our coaches run down the line and signal to Vig to go down? Vig looked at him and pointed to the ground, the coach gave him the affirmative and down he went šŸ˜‚ all the rest of the outfield players then shot over to the manager to have a conflab. Apart from Tymon he stayed over the furthest touchline.

One instruction that is really getting to me, players standing off and and not pressing or even pushing up as a unit defensively. We are losing out to far too many 2nd and 3rd balls because they are clearly being instructed to hold their shape.

It's like night and day compared to last season, we are making it far too easy to allow teams to play through us.
I get with Cabango & Burgess as centre halves we’re not going to play too high a line, but you’re spot on. It’s been far too easy to play through our midfield this season.

Happy to win, but it was a very bitty performance again.

Vipotnik was our star man, a man in top form. Won us the game with two moments of top class.

Galbraith and Stamenic were excellent in midfield.

Vig and the centre backs were solid enough.

The rest of the side was meh, apart from Cullen who was anonymous (imo it's just plain wrong he is getting selected), Key was who was his usual flimsy self, and Eom who was absolutely dreadful, nay pitiful, until he finally got hauled off.

A win is a win, but it didn't fill me with any great degree of confidence. And it won't do much to quell the Sheehan naysayers.

Happening too often at all levels for my liking. Getting to the stage where managers may as well have a 30 second timeout each half! And no I’m not really advocating this - speeding up, not slowing down the game needs.

My first in person game for some time today, I enjoyed it. Two belting goals, three points and a decent (if not what you’d call good) performance. Norwich are shite mind.

Not sure what all you real fans have been moaning about all this time.

That pleases me.
It was a lovely afternoon and it was a nice little atmosphere and a feeling of optimism from everyone.

No worries. We’ve all done this xG thing plenty of times before anyway and it’s always going to be a metric which causes debate.

Three points TODAY is the main thing TODAY.

That’s me done now as well. Quick turn around after a 3S and we’re off out.
The Jack are the going up!!

Enjoy your night out šŸ«¶šŸ¼

...when Widell came on he was aggressive in the press and the tackle, he was committing men and some of his work was superb. He will almost certainly get a start against Man City in the cup and after we get slaughtered in that he won't get a look in again for another month...
I had the same thought earlier.

Eom has been poor and was again today.

I would like to see what Idah can do on the right wing and Ronald on the left.

It means more to those that never go to the stadium.

It’s a load of shite.
It’s not always a great stat to use but it indicates how a team is in front of goal. Us for example, we tend to have pretty low XG stats so when we score more than one in a game, you know we’ve been clinical. If you look at Southampton, their XG as a team is pretty high but they’re down the bottom so that would indicate that they’re missing a load of chances or their defence is really poor.

It isn’t the be all end all but it can give you a general picture.

Swansea City 🦢 v Norwich 🐄
