There is not let up on the Championship fixture list at the moment and the Swans head North once again this weekend as they look to seek revenge on a Huddersfield side who are the only team to leave the Liberty so far this season with three league points in their pocket.

Much has changed since that defeat at the Liberty earlier in the season and, thanks to midweek results, the Swans head to the John Smith's Stadium in 3rd place in the Championship table but just a point behind 2nd placed Brentford and with two games in hand.

The top 3 of Norwich, Brentford and the Swans are shaping up for what looks as if it could be an epic promotion battle and neither of those three will want to lose ground with a defeat and this has to be a game where we target a win given Huddersfield's league position (19th) just five points ahead of the relegation places.

As ever on Planet Swans we have for you some of the most comprehensive pre-match coverage in our matchday thread that will bring you all we need to know over the next few days as well as all the chat during the match together with every post match follow up you would wish to read (and maybe even more!)

Dr. Winston said:
Hudds fans not optimistic about the game at all.

I'm not surprised when you look at both teams form over the last six games.

Huddersfield fans I’ve chatted to on other forums think they’re awful at the moment and a good bet to go down.

Many a slip, ‘twixt cup and lip. Brentford lost at home for example.

Have a niggling feeling they are due a change in form, always thought they were ok at home. Just don't want us in the mindset we can play crap and pinch wins. Real dogfight here, will take a point but can't play as bad the other night....can we?
Probably 1-1
Hopefully 0-2.

To be honest it looked from the other night that our forwards looked a bit burnt out, I wouldn’t be averse to playing either Morris or dhanda from the start

Saturday's Referee is John Brooks

It will be a familiar face with the whistle on Saturday as John Brooks takes charge of the Swans for the third time in as many months.

So far this season he has overseen our 2-0 win at Cardiff in December as well as the 1-1 home draw with promotion rivals Brentford at the end of January, a night where he angered their fans by allowing a late equaliser from Conor Hourihane despite what they claim to be an elbow on their flapping goalkeeper from Jake Bidwell.

Of course both his Swans games this season have seen the production of a red card and given the record of red cards in this fixture it all points to someone seeing an early finish on Saturday? 57 yellows and 3 reds is his current Championship total this season from 17 games.

He will be assisted by Matthew Jones and Akil Howson whilst the Fourth Official is Leigh Doughty
