• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

No matter what happens, I'm proud of the way we aim to play. That can't be said of our Eastern cousins.

I'm sure it's been covered, but is it on Swans Tv? Please say yes someone!

Sky are televising it, so if you don’t have Sky you’ll need to boot up the PC, plug it into the telly box with a hdmi cable and pay Now TV £10 to watch it. So there.

Doesn't feel or seem like a derby game tomorrow, but I hope we win and win convincingly..and if we got hopes of automatic promotion, we simply must win

That 3-2 game...boring Sousa eh? I'd forgotten that was the same season as all those dour games.

Me too. Bessone's finest moment in a Swans shirt.

I made the mistake of taking my then girlfriend (now wife) to the Bristol City game that year. The most mind-numbing 0-0 I can remember. Unsurprisingly she hasn't returned since.

So she suffered the game and married you...She's a sucker for punishment, ain't she.

We've been together over 11 years now. She says the Bristol City game felt longer than that...

Only in "dark areas" sadly
Thanks Phil. Didn't know what a dark area was - but do now!

Paul usually posts some free to air links when the game starts - fingers crossed

Mr Cooper , please do not lose this game, the year has been shyte enough, and to do so 2 weeks before xmas will send me over the fckn edge.
That said, if both teams play to their best, we will win 2-1.

I like to think Cooper has learnt from the 0-0 there last season, when they were on the rack, tired aged and slow defenders and an unused Brewster champing at the bit on the bench if (sketchy) memory serves. He played for a draw when we could/should have gone for the double. Annoying. This season may be a prime opportunity to kick on and take 3 points from such games, especially when the game is playing out in our favour. It's games like these that separate also-rans from strong contenders. Not seen their pitch this season, but it has to be better than ours which should suit us. Weather forecast is sunny so ideal conditions for a passing style of play.

Go for it Cooper - COYS.
