• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

We only showed any urgency when we went 2 down. The mentality of this team and the manager has to chamge

Dhanda is one of the few ball-playing genuine footballers that we have - Ayew is the other one. Most of our forwards and midfielders couldn’t trap a bag of cement. Very poor tonight.

Didn't deserve it really.. this perseverance of Lowe 2 in 16 has to stop. Bold subs at half time Garrick should have come on for instead of Routledge. Far too much aerial balls played into their hands ! Ref had a shocker didn't help but we could have taken them tonight. We have a striker issue for sure !

2 piss poor goals to give away, losing the ball up the pitch then conceding.
Energy levels wernt there , maybe playing Sunday didn't help. Gykores doesn't inspire confidence but early days with him.
Luton will give us chances Saturday, no panic.

Think he needs dropping or moving into number ten but with Dhanda and Palmer there with MGW to come back there is no place for him.

He will score six goals max this season even with the playing time. Brewster would be on ten at least

Our scouting team have clearly identified Lowe as an alternative striker, it's not working, time to bin it.

But I fear they'll continue to persevere.

Ayew was very poor tonight, but we looked far too slack all over the field looking to make fancy Dan passes and losing possession to a counter attacking side. Grimes and Dhanda made an impact once they were on the field.

I thought he made a name for himself at Wigan as a winger? I could be wrong on that, but is isn’t a striker. And we don’t have room for wingers when we play with wing backs. Might make a better impact sub against defenders getting tired? Although he does do a lot of good running, which someone has to do (Cullen could do that though and be more of a goal threat).

I only had the second half on the radio, but didn’t hear Ayew’s name once until added time. We need more from him too.

You're right in that we are shoehorning Lowe into a striker role but can't see where the attributes are that suggests he is capable. Even a half decent finisher would be on five by now but the glut of chances he's missed is poor by any standards. Cullen would be a fair better bet. Can anyone argue he wouldn't be on more goals than Lowe's two? I'd bet he'd have at least four

Ayew just wasn't in the game today - the only urgency he seemed to show was when the ball went out of play. Not a threat for once
