We’re not losing this because of Cooper.

We’re losing this because Lowe and Cullen are just not very good. Everything bounces off them, their positional play is shocking, they make no effort to find space, and even when they inadvertently find themselves in space the ball isn’t controlled. It either goes to an opposing player or far enough away from the direction of travel that all momentum is lost and everyone is out of position. Added to that Hourihane’s almost comical lack of concentration and the lack of creative ability in midfield and it is what it is. Routledge stands out for his ability to control the ball. He looks like he always has time The others just don’t have the same ability.

I suppose we didn't have a great first half of the season due to him either then...

If so, what has happened to the players?

Whilst I somewhat agree with this I feel it's more down to our build up play. More often than not there is no link between the front three and the midfield. Our biggest combination of passes must be between defence and attack. When we play those balls it's not fair to ask Lowe and Cullen to hold the ball up for the midfield because neither of them are suited to that task.

When we do decide to build through the midfield we are often too ponderous and passive which lets the other team get back in numbers.

With our front three options we should either be drawing the opposition out with passes in midfield before playing a ball in behind for runners or utilise someone like Routs/Dhanda to build up outside the box and slip balls through.

You really think a decent manager couldn’t get more out of them? The players are good enough. Odd that you’ve taken this particular stance at this time.

I don’t think Cooper is a good manager. I just don’t think he’s as bad as some do. I don’t believe our squad is full of untapped talent just waiting to be unleashed. I think most of them are bang average and if we get to the play offs that’s not a bad result. If a few talented players are with average players they drag them up. If the talented players are all removed you are left with what’s left.

We’ve sold anyone any good for a few windows now. And recruited people based on decisions that are not all within Cooper’s control.

There is no balance in what people are seeing. That’s all.

Would you keep him? I would have kicked him out ages ago.

Blooper would have inspired the team half time... we will win 3:1, win the play offs and take the premier league by storm next season. Cooper will be a hero in Swansea for years to come...

Then I woke up and just one thought came to mind... F@@K off Blooper and take your management team with you

As long as he was accumulating points he was passing the test. Hes no longer doing that. Sayonara.

In fairness not much to be positive about

I hope we aren't dull here. We still have GD over Reading. It isnt a cup final situation.

I wouldn’t other than we’d be just as likely to recruit someone far worse as far better. So kicking him out could be a disaster.
The difference between us Mon is I think our squad is just not good enough. We were lucky as hell for quite a bit of this season and once our luck ran out we look as ordinary as we are.

Grimes, Fulton, Bidwell, Dhanda, Lowe, Cullen, Smith... how anyone makes them look anything other than average I don’t know. As I say, they’re good enough if you have a few sparks amongst them, but the sparks have all gone.

Unfair on Cullen. Nobody has any idea how he will turn out

Lowe has 13 goals and had clubs clambering after him last summer

Grimes, Fulton and Smith are fine, just not together

Liam is a far better striker than Ian Walsh

I think that’s a long way the most idiotic comment I’ve seen on this site. Post under the identity you had rather than hiding behind this shite.

Think of it this way - this team would be top 2 with young Brendan in charge. The players are good enough.

Just had my bets, 7/2 the draw and 17/1 to win 2-1
