• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Is it bad that I now want us to get an absolute spanking from Reading to increase the chance of Cooper being show.n the door!?

What can Cooper realistically do? At some point the players have to step up. No shots on target.

They dont look motivated FFS, basic that for a manager.

Stop playing Grimes and Hourihane
Drop Lowe
Coach positional play.

Thankfully Reading still have to go to Norwich, so even if we lose here as looks likely we’ll probably still hang on to sixth even if we lose our last two. I can’t say I’m excited for the playoffs with the way we’ve been playing recently though.

We have no chance in the play offs, we are absolute garbage.

Worry is that if Cooper stays then the rot continues into next season.

Coopers time is up.

The fact that we're even discussing hanging on to a playoff spot considering where we were a month or so ago is staggering.

The best through ball Hourihane has played all game has been to a reading player. That aside he almost always goes backwards and kills any momentum from breaking the lines.

Pull him off and put on Ayew at half time and put Routs in centre midfield

Hourihane and Cooper... just get out of our club.

Trouble with Hourihane is that he's a bit like Ayew in terms of not being in the game at all, until he pops up out of nowhere and scores the winner. His goals must have secured us a few points just before our good run stopped. Without him we'd have probably dropped off the pace sooner. He may even have made the difference between securing a PO place and not (assuming we can get at least a draw in the last 3 games including this one).

Frustrating player though - he's not the quality we're used to in open play for sure - all our other midfielders put in more work and understand our system better.

Wolves getting spanked - Cooper is a great manager I highly recommend!

Also can’t see how you can blame Lowe for anything - smashing a ball into him without anyone around him ffs

Apathy is a lack of feeling, emotion, interest, or concern about something. It is a state of indifference, or the suppression of emotions such as concern, excitement, motivation, or passion.

Bidwell should not play in a back four. We’ve known that since early last season.

Mannings injured. So I suppose it’s amusing that the one time 3-5-2 makes some sense he didn’t do it.

Reading are terrible, but better than us. I still think we might well pull this out of the fire as both teams look so bad. We’re going down next year though unless we find ourselves a proper football manager.
