Swansea City v Brentford
The LIberty Stadium, Swansea
Wednesday January 27 2021, 7.00pm Kick Off

After the distraction of the FA Cup it is back to the important stuff of the league for the Swans on midweek night with a huge game against a side pushing hard on our heels in Brentford.
This game was originally scheduled for 23rd January but moved due to the progression of both teams in the FA Cup and with the two sides and Watford pushing hard to keep up with leaders Norwich it is a big midweek calendar for us all (Watford are away at Millwall on Tuesday night)
It will, of course, be the 6th meeting between the two sides in the last two seasons with Brentford having beaten us over two legs in last years play off semi final.
Andre Ayew hit a late equaliser when the Swans drew 1-1 back at Brentford in November (see match thread here and Steve Cooper knows that a win in this fixture will push the gap between the two sides up to five points and push on the belief that we are building a promotion winning season.
As ever on Planet Swans we have for you some of the most comprehensive pre-match coverage in our matchday thread that will bring you all we need to know over the next few days as well as all the chat during the match together with every post match follow up you would wish to read (and maybe even more!)
The game will, of course, be covered live on Swans TV.
