We look like a league 2 team playing in the cup. Few passes strung together but pretty much comprehensively outplayed. If we get lucky, absolutely great. But anyone that thinks this is in anyway an improvement on last year needs a quick visit to specsavers. We are utterly bereft of creativity, pace, width, discipline.

This is as bad as we’ve been for years.

Surely someone in charge can see how ridiculous this is. No amount of ‘Sky friendly’ stats, sound bites and management speak from Martin can continue to pull so much wool over so many peoples eyes surely?

We're naive Lisa.. that's one thing a Cooper side never had.. we would never try to dribble out of our own half like Cabango and Downes did in that half.. basics in high level football

I don’t mind taking risks, it’s supposed to be an entertainment after all. I also don’t mind playing well, trying to develop something for the future and sometimes getting beaten as a result. But we are just utterly dreadful. We are playing for the sake of stats not the club. It is simply awful,

My money is on Stoke getting an early second half goal via a pen or flukey deflection after all their good play with no goodies in the first half.

Only hope we have is they will blow up in the last 20 after all the high energy pressing they have been doing. A sucker punch would be glorious, but even a win can't paper over these cracks.

As an unrelated aside, I have never hoped to see the headline ‘player suffers a career ending injury’ as much as I’d like to read it about Zouma tonight. It’s not only everything wrong with football it’s everything wrong with society. The PL should, (won’t obviously) fine West Ham 10 points for bringing the game into disrepute. And Moyles should be sacked. Sickening.
