• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler
    Owner, jackarmy.net

I can honestly see Lowe Bidwell Grimes & Dhanda going

Bournemouth fancy Grimes according to Nixon.

I think he will go to be he honest and can’t fault him, we are not in a position to challenge for promotion this season and he isn’t getting younger.

I’d go straight in for Troy Deeney who is now a free agent. Proven at this level and a leader.

Too late for that plan, signed for Birmingham about an hour ago.

Swansea are going to need an absolutely sensational deadline day to get Martin the players he wants as it’s evident he does fancy the following:

Whittaker
Joseph
Lowe
Bidwell
Naughton
Dhanda

Factor in he’s going to lose Grimes and Roberts and it’s looking hard going for him.

What makes you think he doesn’t fancy Whittaker or Joseph? He obviously feels they are better off playing 40+ games in league 1 that cameos here and there - I agree.

Bidwell - played every game so far. If he didn’t rate him Manning would be playing lwb

Naughton - injured

Rest I grant you

£1.5M rising to £2M for a bloke who had 2 years left on his contract and scored 14 goals last season. I struggle to see how this is a good deal.

Reason I suspect is that while RM is in charge he would have been on the fringes, so if RM wanted someone in his place he was probably forced to sell
