• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Leicestershire effectively 41/7. Looks like victory number two for Glamorgan. A more than decent start to the season if they wrap it up tomorrow.

Not even Glamorgan can screw this up against the cricket equivalent to Welsh rugby's Penarth RFC circa 1980's! Can they...

They’re giving it a good go at the moment. Leicestershire now 82 ahead. Still three wickets in hand.

84 extras. That''s pretty poor from Leicestershire. But a pleasing win for the Glamorgan boys. I'd love Salter, who I've a real soft spot for, to get some runs but in what must be extremely difficult circumstances for the lad it's almost like he's reprising Nick Selman's "shyte opener" role.

A half century of no-balls. Sounds like a spell in the nets is needed.

Next up its Ben Stokes and Durham...

Hopefully he'll be wrapped up in cotton wool ready for England duty 🙏

You see his innings the other day? 161 off 88 balls. 17 sixes. 34 off one over. In a four day game. I reckon he’s up for it.

Sam Northeast will turn out ti be a very astute signing for us, 3 year contract too 👍

When he was with Kent as a youngster he was being tipped to be a mainstay of the England side.
Whatever happens to all that unfulfilled potential is anyone's guess and occurs all too often in all sports..... however he's doing himself and Glammy a power of good at the moment, long may he rediscover his mojo👍🏏

Unbelievably we always seem to get dangermen out cheaply....watch Stokes fall for a pair and an unheard of tailender get 300 not out😂🤣👍
