• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

If this back and forth has to continue, can you just move it across to the Adam Idah thread and not ruin the Transfer thread any further, this has been going on for almost two weeks.

Someone's on the Babycham 🙈😁

Which brings me back to the point why would any Swansea fan use an inflated fee to slate our own player and club?
Couldnt answer that sorry.

On the flip side, people will use it to over hype the situation and make things look good.

Notice they're all up around the 6-7mill figure though? Coincidence?

Because that’s what that website stated that also has no clue which everyone seems to use as a reference.

The total could well get around there if he and the club hit certain performance markers, but common sense tells us we don’t have the PSR power to spend £6m guaranteed on a player.

Not yet, waiting for todays football to start.

Just bored to death with your pal repeating himself over and over. I have no doubt other users of the forum are, as well.

As you were.
I don't know the poster personally.
He's a decent poster who will give his view. He only responds in a manner to a poster who responded in the manner to him originally.

But you can only do that if you know the fee.

Nobody does.

By that logic you can never say at the time of signing any player (unless they're a free agent) that you think its a good signing.

Or do you have no opinion on any player ever?

Rhetorical questions, its obvious your being obtuse and stubborn now. And fair play to you if you're happy with that mindset.

Correct, you can never state a player is good or bad on signing based on the fee unless you know it.

My opinion of players are of the players, not of the made up fees.

We've all noticed he likes to give his view, there's been about sixteen pages of it.

You don't know they're made up. You're twisting your own logic.

I notice you dodged the Ayew Bony question 🤣

Just humour us then, if Idah continues in this same vein and leaked genuine papers from the club show we paid somewhere in the region of £6-7million, would you admit it was a bad signing?

Of course we know they are made up, because the figures are all different.

The Bony and Ayew question has the same answer to the Clucas and Baston one. Bony bad signing based on what he did in his second spell, Ayew a good one as he remained our best player for several seasons.

If he continued contributing to goals at a rate higher than anyone else on our team then it would be an incredible signing.
