• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

No I'm expert by any stretch but 7 big ones for a striker with those stats seems a bit excessive, am I wrong?
It is not 7 million. It would only reach that should we get promoted, he have X amount of goals and X amount of appearances for us and Ireland etc.

It is apparently around 3 million up front according to some fairly reliable people.

Ah ok cool, that's more like it

Couple of reporters claiming we are still interested in Moussa Sylla at Schalke.
Looks like Schalke want a sale but Leicester and other teams also mentioned along with Schalke wanting 7M Euros.

If this is anything to go by he looks like a bit of what we've been missing with holding up the ball and linking play. He seems quite strong..

So basically based on these highlights he does everything Cullen and VP rarely do. Quick, strong, running onto the ball with through pass and actually scores. I'm happy 😆

As I mentioned to someone else. We are getting a speedy mobile 6ft3 versus an old school VIP style carthorse.

I'd rather be driving a low end sports car than a lorry.

I'm happy with this signing and also still like VIP
Cullen moaned last week when a perfect pass was played to him and he didn't bother going for it. Will be good to have a striker in Idah who gets on the end of a through ball. Something we have been missing.
