Nope, when he said he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and not lose a single vote he wasn't wrong. Just less than half of the country are locked in and thirsty for fascism right now. Bunch of snowflakes can't take losing an election so they'd rather burn the republic down than elect a democrat. What do you expect from a country that's fed on Fox news, 70% of the population believe in angels, and 40% believe the earth is less than 10 000 years old, compared to only 40% that believe in man made climate change? The Republican Party has cultivated a base thats angry and stupid, in an electoral system where their votes count for more. It took a record turnout for Biden for him to take home a marginal electoral college win.

Republican voters decided to elect the most openly racist candidate as president in response to the first non white president getting elected. After this loss they've set their base line at attempted coup and overthrow of democracy. They get worse after every cycle. In a couple of years they'll be an open Qanon crazy cult conspiracy party and that will be their new normal.

however over 600million is not accounted for. Either lining Trump pockets or is from a source that can’t be disclosed. Very fishy at the least. Outright corruption more likely.

It’s an interesting development and I suspect there may be more to come. McConnell et al initially supported Trump, loyalty to the man and the party and the fact that the dollars were rolling in have been factors, but as time has passed and evidence of large scale fraud has not been forthcoming Mitch McConnell and others are acknowledging Biden as the winner. The Republicans have to oppose, but they also have to work with the Democrats on a number of issues where as a Trump will be history.
There are reports that Trump and Pence’s relationship is strained, do the Republicans ignore Trump’s twitter and say nothing, that could damage them individually and the Republican Party, do they secretly brief against him or do they call him out and proclaim there’s no fraud?
The is also a nuclear option which would be Amendment 25 and attempting remove the President from office on the grounds he is unfit to hold office, but that’s a huge call.

I think Trump is making a few enemy’s in his last few weeks in office and potentially incurring the wrath of allies he may need further down the line.

Read a fair few suggestions that Pence and Moscow
Mitch may call the 25th on Sunday. There is a feeling that Trump’s actions will tarnish the GOP for a generation and allow Democrats to realign the electoral college and senate.
