NOPE.

Currently it is all about the two Senate positions in Georgia. They've backed Trump al the way but he has called "election fraud" if he gets traction the repubs don't vote in numbers and the Dems might take both and get a deadlock that is brocken by the VP's casting vote. If they go against Trump openly they lose a portion of that 43%. They are playing a balancing act to take at least one seat and then they will block every one of Bidens picks to hog-tie his tenure...it's (dirty) warfare.

It’s an interesting development and I suspect there may be more to come. McConnell et al initially supported Trump, loyalty to the man and the party and the fact that the dollars were rolling in have been factors, but as time has passed and evidence of large scale fraud has not been forthcoming Mitch McConnell and others are acknowledging Biden as the winner. The Republicans have to oppose, but they also have to work with the Democrats on a number of issues where as a Trump will be history.
There are reports that Trump and Pence’s relationship is strained, do the Republicans ignore Trump’s twitter and say nothing, that could damage them individually and the Republican Party, do they secretly brief against him or do they call him out and proclaim there’s no fraud?
The is also a nuclear option which would be Amendment 25 and attempting remove the President from office on the grounds he is unfit to hold office, but that’s a huge call.

I think Trump is making a few enemy’s in his last few weeks in office and potentially incurring the wrath of allies he may need further down the line.

Read a fair few suggestions that Pence and Moscow
Mitch may call the 25th on Sunday. There is a feeling that Trump’s actions will tarnish the GOP for a generation and allow Democrats to realign the electoral college and senate.

It needs more than the VP and McConnell to invoke the 25th. Won’t happen, especially three weeks from Trump’s term ending anyway.

Funny how the people who screamed blue murder over “defund the police” are now applauding Trump defunding the military. Will be interesting to see if a shutdown can be averted or if Trump really is willing to drag McConnell until the 20th.
