He is kinda right, and the same could be applied to all of them imo. Trump was/is basically a Cult leader, programming his followers with mistruths and fantasy for his entire time in office.
But like any good Cult leader he will get off scot free and his followers will spend the rest of their lives dealing with the fallout. There is a lot of similarities with how Scientology operates.

We can laugh about it but a large proportion of adults in the US actually believe that type of nonsense. And whatever happens to Trump, they're not going anywhere.
