Open and honest dialogue you mean.

And yes there is a large hint of sarcasm there (y)
Aye.

If only we had a supporters trust that acted on the behalf of the clubs supporters.

Even a brief statement that they had been kept up to date on the clubs intention.

As far as I can see there's nothing

I had a brief email conversation with them and they might release a statement if there is anything worth saying is what they said.

Got the impression they haven't been involved with any conversations around the idea.

"they might release a statement if there is anything worth saying"

It's got to this stage and they don't think fans should have known earlier and be involved?

My impression is the first the trust are hearing updates is via the news, like the rest of us.

If that is the case then it's laughable.

The takeover talk was moving on from the previous owners and being open and more involvement.

I despair.

The people on the trust board are there for the wrong reasons in my humble opinion.

They like the title just not the work which comes with it.

I think I'll go and check my blood pressure now :)

Then again nothing surprises me

I’m supportive of this but I do have reservations namely the change in relationship with English league. It will cause friction, but it might pass.

Schedule isn’t such a big deal. I’d rotate squad effectively and if that means defeat well so be it.

From my understanding the four clubs have agreed to forego the revenue generated to give to the FAW.

And this also means that qualification via traditional methods (e.g. Premier League top 7, Carabao, FA Cup win) is also removed for the four clubs.

Does slightly remove the incentive for the aim to be successful at the top of the pyramid. Not that it's ever likely but...

Indeed. We would not have had our UEFA cup run under Laudrup had this been in place then. We will get opportunities to enter Europe of course but our current squad won’t get through the qualifiers, which will interrupt our pre-season (or mean we have to reduce the summer break and come back earlier.

I’m not convinced, but maybe it will work out. And good for FAW/Welsh football in general.

Apparently we can leave the. completion if we get promoted to the premier league.

Someone mentioned it in an earlier post.
