• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Kicks off tomorrow evening with England v Austria at 8pm

All live on the BBC, should be a great placeholder before the Swans get back into gear.

Aim to keep the comments civil, if you don't care then don't post!

Demonstrates the value of a quality coach, man or woman.

Sarina Wiegman would be more successful coaching a mens side than at least 50% of the male managers doing the rounds

Come on Portugal, would love it if they beat Sweden this evening to make it into the QF.

Not forgetting they wouldn't even have been there if it wasn't for Russia being kicked out.

Wow so because Sweden thumped Portugal 5-0 and Netherlands only won 4-1 then that means Sweden come 1st and Netherlands come 2nd

Meaning in the knockouts Sweden go on Englands side of the draw and Netherlands go on France and Germanys side

I would say Englands odds just shortened.

FIFA world rankings have Sweden at No 2, with Netherlands at No 4. Not a lot in it but England are ranked at No 8

No mugs for certain but I think Netherlands are better, from what I've seen, and the defending champions of course.

Needless to say, I'll be cheering on Spain on Wednesday.

It will be tough for them but it will depend which side get into their passing game first and best.

Spain are technically better but nowhere near as mean or clinical

Here's my pick France up next.. still 3/1 to win it.. Germany are my next pick.. 10/3

Iceland scored with a penalty in the 12th minute of added time? WTF?

Is that the match where the VAR panel took about 8 minutes to look at an incident and then still couldn't decide, so called the ref to the monitor to make a decision?

There was a ball into the French box and in the ensuing mayhem there were people from both teams falling all over the place. The commentators didn't know what was going on so they looked at a slowmo replay and concluded that VAR were probably looking at 3 possible penalty incidents all occurring more or less simultaneously in the chaos so it wasn't just one incident😂😂😂

The Quarter Finals are here, should be a fun one tonight.

I just don't think Spain have enough grit and uglyness in their team to get past England.

Up the Spaniards, why do England hype up everything they play in, they're the most arrogant nation there is

Right then, feet up and finally gonna watch one of these games. Lets see what the fuss is about.
