• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Keshi Anderson became a free agent recently always looked decent when I’ve seen him play.

Yay another 6 months of Ronald McDonald. Ran-Sayki can do one, turned us down twice now so he can rot in turkey or whatever shit hole he was in

Maybe he has seen our record of playing loan players. Combine Casey, Benson, Smith and Yalcouye it doesn't amount to much.

Fact is, we are 17th in the league and won’t look attractive at the moment. If I had just been on loan at Sheffield United and done well as Rak-Sakyi has, I wouldn’t want to be going to the bottom half of the Championship either.

Our pull depends on our league position and we can’t use that right now. Unfortunately we did a lot of damage by appointing the wrong man back in May.

Maybe debatable? But wasn't wowed by Casey. He was fine
Nothing bad but nothing great. He might go on to do alright, but it is what it is.

If its true he doesn't want to come so be it. Last thing we want is a player who isn't up for the fight.
I think that’s been the case with us and a lot of players recently. Our striker targets didn’t want to join us in the summer either. We’ve got to start becoming a club that top targets want to come to or these owners will never get anywhere. I don’t mean top players btw, I mean our top targets.

Loads of players would rather stay in or around London / Manchester / Liverpool. Let’s be honest other than our beaches and scenery (which we appreciate) what is there for young players with a few bob burning an hole in their pockets? Let’s not kid ourselves that the area is attractive in that sense.

Joel Piroe interesting Celtic ,
If that goes ahead can see him scoring lots of goals

You need to target realistic players, all well and good that we went for this guy or that but if it's not realistic it just wastes time and effort.
Some of the names mentioned over the summer were just totally out of our reach despite stories stating we had a chance.
Sakyi was realistic but just didn't fancy us as a club.
