Put the word 'be' after the word 'to'. Not a great stretch.
Alas poor Yorick, I knew himPut the word 'be' after the word 'to'. Not a great stretch.
Agreed, we likely didn't pay the amount initially to what is being reported as the transfer fee.No clue what we paid for either of them. But I am very confident we didn’t pay what is often said on here in order to be the basis to bash him. We wouldn’t have the PSR room to pay such a fee.
My point is, nobody else knows either.

The initial payment and spread costs help us with PSR.
These fees are used by people to suit.
All the figures are different, and our CEO says they are wrong.
We have no idea what Celtic felt worth their while as they were in the market for his replacement (Dolberg?) and it fell through after.
£4m + £2m on promotion may be what it took for them to accept in order to get their Dolberg deal done.

I'm just forming an opinion based on whats out there, there's always interpretation involved in this sort of thing and nothing you're saying is discounting anything, the CEO has a vested interest, you can't put much weight into that.
And anyway, even at your completely made up scenario, we'd still have overpaid.
Which brings me back to the point why would any Swansea fan use an inflated fee to slate our own player and club?
Who's slating the club?
You and others that say the club we’re stupid to pay so much for him yet openly admit the figures aren’t known to you.
Did you agree with the fee the club paid for Clucas?
I don’t know what they paid for him, neither do you.
Yea and
We have a pretty good idea. It was 15mill plus, that's not disputed. Do you agree based on the whole picture that that figure would be fairly accurate?
My scenario is as made up as yours.
£4m is absolutely not an overpayment for Adam Idah.
