Agreement reached.

Well we’ll find out one way or the other if Itch is right at the end of the season.

Make an obvious prediction and then reap the internet points when proven correct

What is obvious about his prediction?

Ok, substitute obvious with reasonable. He's been doing it for years

I would love to see the end of Mr Plan A ( and fek all else) Martin, but to say the players had lost interest in playing for him a long time ago, would have made sense when his stats were 3 wins in 24 games.

But Collecting 10 pts from 12 in the last 4 games
throws a bit of a spanner in the works on that particular theory.

Todays footballers are basically lazy feks.

If they don’t like a manager and his coaching staff, they would down tools as quick as you could say “Lost the dressing room” and this might account for that bad run of results.

Napoleon’s quote of “I would rather have a general who was lucky than one who was good”could easily apply to RM and the Yanks.

Our skinflint owners went into default mode ie. didn’t want to spend the money on sacking him and his staff, which then gave Martin a stay of execution to get things right.

So like a broken clock, Martin’s ratio of being right is 2 out of 24, sounds about right.

But is the clock ticking as per Re: Agreement reached ?

Time will tell ⏰

But

Or they knew they royally f*cked up in Jan, and went hiding while looking for someone to take the club off their hands when the pressure starting coming on from their group of investors. These owners are not the brightest, but they are not thick enough to sack a manager like Martin.

Whether Itchy is right about their being an agreement in place, who knows? I don't think he's the type to blatantly lie or make things up, maybe the new people who are apparently coming in have told him he's not part of the plans going forward? I can't see it personally. He's well off with the players have no interest in playing for Martin though.

I’ve met Itchy loads of times and I can vouch that he’s a twat.

Thanks, Blouze is also on record confirming that I have been saying reasonable things for years.

I wouldn’t expect anything less from ‘Blouze’ he’s a very nice man.

Chwarae teg. What did you hear then? That he was off at end of regardless who came in for him? Southampton did look doomed for a while but they could still have stayed up- was it you heard he'd go specifically to them?

Are you joking? 😂😂 He said there was a package agreed for russ at the end of season and we literally had the owner on here yesterday telling us they had been in talks about a longer deal for some time. WalesOnline are now saying Russ pulled out of contract talks.

There was no talks of Martin leaving at that time, and the players never stopped playing for him either, spectacularly wrong with this particular one.

Seems like there’s a lot of different story’s going on, owners told Martin to look elsewhere etc imho I reckon the board already decided to part ways with him after the outspokenness in January and the run we went on with 4 in 24.

Well that yesterday was from the horses mouth, you’ve seen that yourself. It’s also fact the new backers here (morris and cravatt) wanted him to stay.

Now I’m not denying Levien and Silverstein would have preferred compo as he completely outed them after Jan, but there was never any agreement in place.
