• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

His argument would have held far more weight if he refrained from using such language in a video. Like so many in society today who are happy to use that word at every whip stitch. I find his actions incredibly embarrassing.

Have you got kids? You don’t need to tell me none of my business, but if you did and you heard them talking to someone like that would you have a word with them? If it was mine I would. Good job we’re all different.

What? Hang on now, are we watching the same video,? the only words on the video he said to the shop staff were, no mate, and here's you're 8 quid phone the police, and that's it.

Yes I have got kids, and I would be disappointed if they did something like that, when it perhaps could be handled differently.

But some of the stuff spoken about this chap is just made up nonsense, the ferking video is there in black and white, plain to see, yet some people are watching it, and saying he abused the staff, WTAF, I can't believe it, too be honest what part of no mate, here is your 8 quid, phone the police counts as abuse?

That's true, but his language was directed at his friends or followers to the platform he uploaded it to, he does swear a lot in the video, that's agreed. But can everyone agree on one thing, no swearing was directed at the club shop staff, based on that video?

No, everyone can't agree on that.

Why? He does not swear at the staff. I feel like i am living in an alternative reality sometimes, the video JF you watched it yes? My question does he swear or abuse the staff in that video?

Your question was can we all agree. The answer is no.

Ok, I will rephrase it, do you think from that video, that the fella abused and swore at the staff?

From that video, perhaps not. However, he was clearly agitated. Perhaps he decided he would be bold for his "friends and followers on the platform" and went back in after being told he had to use a card for payment.

My point still stands. His behaviour is embarrassing. There's far too much of this in society. It's also disappointing when people try to normalise it.

No he did not say that, after you saying that I've just listened to it twice again, just to make sure, and No he does not swear, he says phone the police, not phone the fu**ing police.

I thought he did.

If he didn’t, then that’s fine and I apologise.

End of the day, whatever anyone's opinion of Swansea City's decision to go cashless its up to them, thier rules, if you don't like it shop elsewhere I suppose is the answer...

Of course, It was pretty silly, but you have to remember this guy is just an amateur , shall we say an every day joe bloggs, as I said earlier, regardless of the swearing in the video, just look at the bottom line, and the bottom line is man pays for mug with cash, instead of card, and that's it, regardless of his presentation, surely you just look at the point he is making.?

It's ok, I just thought I was going crazy, no need to apologise. I have noted watching that video on a mobile seems pretty quite compared to a laptop.

This wasn't his first rodeo apparently.

He's done it before somewhere in Gower, I read earlier.
