• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Realistically, and putting aside one's own thoughts on her actions, how likely is a custodial sentence? Ultimately she's a single mum trying to earn a crust while supporting a dying parent. It's a Christmas story to weaken the resolve of most judges.

Her personal life shouldn’t come into it. Send her down for Christmas.

All considerations that she should have made before setting herself up as a martyr.

I agree a custodial sentence seems unlikely while also admitting my legal knowledge is lacking to say the least.

Hopefully any judge would ignore the single mum sob story she's concocted and issue a far more significant financial penalty on the business. £60k sounds like an appropriate figure for some reason...

Na, jail her. She was warned of the consequences and immediately gave a fuck you to the court. She can use the 60k to hire 24hr care for child whilst she is in jail.

Those Grants are just loans which have to played back, they're not free gratis, are they?🤔

One can receive a custodial sentence but go nowhere near the slammer. Still got a prison record though.

She will get a suspended sentence I reckon plus a hefty fine.

I think the grants are just that, the Covid non repayable cash intended to sustain businesses through the pandemic.

She’s lost the Court case and is basically sticking 2 fingers up at the system. If she’s in contempt of Court then she defo deserves porridge.

And the publicity machine keeps on rolling

Think noah emerged from court with her , it was on Wales today, then they went separate ways , he has been critical of the council in the past I think, hidden agendas in play perhaps

Much more to this than just a simple someone opening their business against the regulations IMO for certain

It's called free publicity, Noah knows how to play the press, just like his fake "Paul I'm divorcing you" stunt sign outside his boozer that made the national press

All remaining 2021 public showings now cancelled so she can nurse her dying mum.

All private showings remain on, and further private bookings are available.

Maybe that mixed message can be explained away by them requiring fewer staff for private showings?
