Bannan has just signed a new contract at Sheffield Wed and Allen would have to drop his wages by around 75% to come back.

Allen is also captain at his club who will be among those favourites for promotion. No chance at all.

Our owners can't win, hold out for us much as we can = useless, not enough time to buy anyone else with "crumbs". Sell for whatever early price comes in = useless, giving players away.

Swans fans eh

Our owners can win, but let’s be honest, they’re not very good are they.

They’re obviously putting the money before the interests of the team on the pitch side of things. And before you come back, I get that entirely and from a sustainability POV there’s nothing wrong with that. We all want our club to survive/exist. But let’s call that exactly how it is, not that they can’t do right for wrong as if they’re super business geniuses that we’re somehow lucky to have owning us and who have our football club’s interests dearly held to their hearts…

Anyway, they’re not going to change their modus operandi now, so we’re stuck with them, money first, football second. Just how it is with them. Rinse and repeat.

Even though he's signed a contract doesn't mean you can't put in offer
Makes sense, although can't see him coming to us

Reported that we’ve turned down £2.5m from Fulham. How much do you think we’ll end up getting for him?

£2.3m

Starting to feel a little apprehensive guys.

According to some our squad was fairly weak last year and we will have lost Grimes, Roberts, Woodman, Ayew, Hourihane, Guehi, and Lowe looking a bit of a busted flush.

I get the reasoning completely but wow that squad is looking so weak. Whilst one or two of the above were poor at times, that's such a lot of upheaval without serious quality to replace.

So far we have brought in Piroe - who does.look good, Joseph - being loaned out, Downes - who hardly played last year for Ipswich but has potential, Laird - who does look very good, Paterson/Walsh - suspect signings

It’s how it is with 95% of football clubs, this fucking monotonous drum you keep banging is really really boring, give it a rest ffs.

Thought you’d be along shortly to laud the owners

As it’s nearly deadline day are we any nearer to spending £6 million on that Belgian\French player you told us all would then shut the likes of me up…😂

I don’t think he’ll be that great a loss - should never be anywhere near captaincy so hopefully we give it to someone with some authority

They literally can't win, but they've done okay by me. Hopefully we are not seeing the re-emergence of Martin f*cking Morgan, slithering his way back in as well.

Hopefully they will continue to run the club on an even keel, and not pander to the petulant Swans fans amongst us, who stamp their feet if we're not spending millions on players that may turn out to be okay.

Getting back to what we used to do, buy cheap, talented players who fit the system.

At this moment in time we've sold no one and spent close to 3m
People need to chill, Grimes and Roberts are on last year of contract and if theyre not willing to sign new deals we should be open to decent bids for them
Bidwell doesnt seem to be what Martin wants at Lwb and Lowes been poor and if someone wants to throw a decent amount at us for him then we should consider that
I highly doubt wed be loaning out Whittaker, Williams, Joseph etc if our squad was thin
Theres meant to be 3 signings happening, one happening today at least, and weve eyes on potential replacements should the above leave

Where e you read this? Seen nothing about incomings and no links either

Sources in the club said that a player weve spoken to for 2 weeks was in Swansea yesterday with announcement likely today

Any idea on position? To be fair we do tend to keep transfers quiet

TBH it is better than the endless list of names that lazy journos link us with.
Frustrating for fans but always make it look as if we have missed out on loads of players ( even the ones we never wanted )
