• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Nothing will be concluded until a couple of hours before this next windowfest is about to shut. It's the Swansea way.

My guess is.

Darling goes out the door to either Bristol City/Birmingham for an "undisclosed fee".

Perhaps this Low lad will come in if we can punt out HD in time to make it happen or he'll go to somewhere else.

Coleman comes out with a statement on January 2nd saying "we tried to get players in but...

We end up with David Lloyd from CPD Aberystwyth for peanuts 🄜

We surely can't deplete the squad further without some incomings of note.

Unless there is an agenda to replace LW

January is always notoriously slow and pretty quiet for the majority of clubs.

My major gripe with our club is the constant chat at the end of each window that they're working hard on recruits for the next window only for us to wait until the last minute to make panic signings.

If they just kept quiet and didn't feel the need to throw the fans a bone, I guess the frustrations with our transfer activity or lack of it wouldn't be such an issue.

Don’t hold your breath. In his post-match interview, Luke didn’t sound too hopeful of us getting anyone one in through the door any time soon. ā€œIt’s not proving easyā€ or some such.

11 clubs have strengthened so far, but it’s still early. I’m not sure how much FFP headroom we have though, or the money to back it up.

If the board ain’t fully behind Williams then I’d be surprised for many players coming in.

I gave up being hopeful of us signing anyone in January years ago.

I sincerely hope Coleman keeps his mouth shut at the end of this window and doesn't harp on about us already working on targets for the summer.

I can't remember Lord Huwbert of Newport being so vocal about transfers. Maybe it's because Coleman is American and they love the sound of their own voice?

His recommendation of signing McLaughlin until the end of the season isn't strengthen his case for new players.
