I think the options are just too similar. Maybe they thought Yalcouye and Widel would be more creative than they are?

Seems like we will just have to be workmanlike in there until they can find someone else to come in. I do not mind that for now as at least we have an identity in there.
Where is Widell?. Is he injured?

Has to be, only a matter of time until he starts to run out of energy and his posting style fully reverts to the same as all his other usernames.
Did you do my banker bet this weekend.

Yes, I am annoying drumming about Sheehan, but the football is not good enough to watch for me. I am still bored shitless watching us like our other two previous managers.

I will do you all a favour and won't post again, have a good rest of the season on the forum and hopefully Sheehan will prove me wrong.

Don't stop posting. The whole point of this forum is people have differences of opinions, which is healthy.

We can't all agree all of the time.

Yes it should have, but Ben reacted stupidly by giving their player a dig in the back. That not only cost us possession but 70 yards of territory while giving them a chance to put a dangerous ball into the box.

And even after that our game management was awful. Their second goal yes it was a world class strike, but he rode not one not two but three tackles to even get himself into the position to have that shot.
Officials got that one wrong plus we had more than one opportunity to clear from the box which on another day with the rub of the green going for us would have happened.

Just one of those days where we were beaten by a touch of class.

There was no way we were going to pay 3M to put someone in the U21s.

He's either struggling to adapt or Sheehan doesn't rate or both.
We can't afford to not include a 3M signing in the match day squad.

If I can come out of retirement after quieting after 1 day on this forum last week, after getting annoyed, then anyone can do it. 🙏🙏☺️☺️

A lot of people seemed to come away pleased with that performance.
I personally found it a very frustrating watch.

We faffed about with the ball at the back and gave it away time after time, that alone led to several clear cut chances and we only had Vig to thank for keeping them down to 3 goals. On the few occasions where we beat their press and moved it into the second line rather than moving it on quickly to Cullen or the wingers we slowed it down and it was like watching the end of Williams's reign where we cared more about keeping possession rather than creating dangerous attacking situations.

Even at half time where some defended our stats to say we were the better performing side I didn't feel that we were genuinely posing a threat. The crowd was getting annoyed too when we would have throw ins level with their box and then seconds later it was back at Cabango and Burgess. I don't get why we didn't utilize Eom's long throw more considering how much of an aerial threat Burgess is in the other box.

85 mins on the clock we were 2 goals down and spend almost two whole minutes with the ball passing it between Vigouroux, the back 4 and Staminic. Leicester didn't even have to work to defend the lead as we didn't attack them and every time we crossed the halfway line they snapped into tackles and we failed to even string a couple of passes together.

Fair result with extra bit of class for their goals. Franco more like himself today and improvement from Eom. Desperately need cover at right back. Shouldn’t be too despondent overall

I may be wrong but I have not seen him included with the U21 team yet either. He is already 23 so is not a teenager who needs lots of time and it is now or never. If this carries on I think he may go back on loan in January.

Sheehan said in his press conference and its been reported, that many players even, Yalcouye, Franco and Widell etc all need to address parts of their game. It doesn't mean they are not good enough. We should be praising the club for having enough depth that we can afford to have Wales and Widell out of the squad and still put a good bench out. It's not gonna happen overnight.

I agree with you and I got the feeling that alot of the crowd felt the same with the moans and groans.

Let's not ignore the fact that Leicester had that extra bit of quality but we weren't great today and people are taking the huff and puff from us today as being in the game.
We could easily have had a right tonking today.
