These are testing times for Steve Cooper and his side. Two defeats in four games, four games on the bounce where we have looked anything but a promotion chasing side and the games don't come easier as we prepare to head to Stoke in midweek looking to secure the win that will keep automatic promotion in our own hands.
For 45 minutes on Saturday it looked as if we could get back to some sort of form but a second half full of basic mistakes, poor defending and a general level of disorganisation meant that Bristol City were the first visiting side to leave the Liberty with three league points for more than four months.
After the 4-1 humbling at Huddersfield the week before our defence which looked so strong for 13 games has now conceded 7 goals in the last 3 and when you factor in a clean sheet into that then it is something that needs to be worked on almost as urgently as our lack of creativity up front.
This is far from a crisis but with four away fixtures in our next five games it could very easily turn into one and what was a very promising season could end with some very bitter memories unless we get our house in order quickly.
As ever on Planet Swans we have for you some of the most comprehensive pre-match coverage in our matchday thread that will bring you all we need to know over the next few days as well as all the chat during the match together with every post match follow up you would wish to read (and maybe even more!)
