Frustrating boring watch tonight, too many players had off games. No tempo and pace, boring sideways passing apart from Dhanda. Not enough goals in this team, we will fizzle outside of play offs.

Didn't deserve it really.. this perseverance of Lowe 2 in 16 has to stop. Bold subs at half time Garrick should have come on for instead of Routledge. Far too much aerial balls played into their hands ! Ref had a shocker didn't help but we could have taken them tonight. We have a striker issue for sure !

Our scouting team have clearly identified Lowe as an alternative striker, it's not working, time to bin it.

But I fear they'll continue to persevere.

He's not an alternative striker, he's an alternative TO a striker.

I think credit needs to be given to Middlesbrough tonight. They played us superbly... stifled the ball into Ayew and made the game scrappy, not letting us into any rhythm.

Darran makes a half decent point (it had to happen at some point) in so much as three points from two tricky away games is not necessarily a bad return

We do though need to take a minimum of four over the two home games to follow it

Also, other results tonight look as if they are going to be fairly kind to us.

Norwich losing and Watford dropping points at home feels good

Four points now separate the top 10 in the division

Big week ahead for many

Watford were away, Phil, but they couldn't beat Forest whereas we did. Goodnight all!

Thats what I meant

If we are sticking the boot into some duffers i'll throw Smith into the mix as well couldn't find a team mate if his life depended on it

And as you mentioned with it being so tight we need to pick up a decent average of points because a few losses on the spin could see us right out of the picture.
Six from the next nine for instance just keeping us in mix.
There’s a long way to go and as I’ve already said 7th at this stage should be perfectly fine for normal people.
We are only a third of the way through the season ffs.

It should be the usual mantra of three points at home, one point away over the course of a season will be enough

Our last two home games got us 4 points. Our last two away games, 3 points. 7 from 4 is just one point adrift of that target

Six from the next two and the easy game at Cardiff... ;-)

You’re good at maths.

26 points from 15 games is a decent return. However 17 goals in those games is a poor return. We ain't gonna pick up many wins if we concede a goal in any future games if we don't start creating and finishing more chances.

Much of our low scoring rate is down to us defending 1 goal leads.
