Clear game plan today, conceded possession and break with pace.
We pushed them into wide positions all afternoon and looked comfortable defending the crosses, they didn't have a shot on target after the 6th minute!

There's an air about us at the minute. We seem very confident of keeping a clean sheet and are happy to wait for the goal to come in its own time. It won't work every game but it's something I don't think I've seen in us for years.

Coops and the team will be pumped for this. The confidence instilled by Coops is overflowing. Warburton's woes could be terminal.

1-3 Lowe hat trick.

Coops fists will be pumping, again.

Another two goal victory margin predicted and delivered by Coops and this remarkably clever, streetwise team.

Another great week for winners and yet more bleakness for the reMoaning losers.

Couldn't make it up, "sunshine".

Coops' fists-apumpin, bliss.

I half agree, but was it part of the game plan for them to miss two really simple chances? The first one of those go in and we probably lose, as we don't come back from behind. The same game plan existed at piss poor Derby and we got totally owned and should have lost by four, against an ultimate whipping boy at their ground - lost again today. So 'no, I'm less fulsome about the 'gameplan'. Smacks of relying on lucjk rather than dominating the opponent to me.

Like I said it won't work every game but it's nice to see different game plans being implemented after being very monotone last season.
And to be fair Bonne pretty much caught the first chance so no matter what it wouldn't have counted.

Brilliant day. Great food, well pissed, 400 bucks win on the coupon, scum lose and we go 2nd.
Very happy days.
Well done Coops and the lads.

Even though it grates me that's what I'm thinking.

No way. 10 points behind us before half way, and a real chance of the double. Suck it up f*ckers.

This streetwise stuff IS something positive that 'Coops' has brought. Now lets just hope the luck holds.

You're learning, albeit far too slowly. Keep practicing.

Oh, and you make you're own luck. Funny how Coops' hard work, diligence and innovation is making us more lucky, hey.

Player: "the more I practice the luckier I get ". Give it a go and you may one day post something decent. Or get lucky.

Actually...

"The harder you work, the luckier you get."
Garry Player.

Happy to correct you 👍

I tend to agree. I suspect the Derby game would have gone the same way as today had we not conceded early on.
Sort out the settling down period and we are cooking on gas.
It was an ugly win today but it was completely professional. A sign of a good side.
Strong defensively. A good away side and one that can route one it or play on the deck as required. Essential ingredients for a promotion side.
Can't help but be optimistic. Watch some sod ruin it :)

Will be interesting if cooper thinks he needs a few reinforcements next month.

He isnt using palmer and gyokeres much so he might send them back to their parent clubs and get a striker and another attacking midfielder in the loan market.

We are grinding out games atm which is obviously good but when we come up against a decent team who score first we need the tools to get back into the game and atm we only have ayew and lowe.

The next two games will be the acid test.

Not forgetting Gibbs-White who will be hopefully up and running soon
