• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Four nil mind. Four fucking nil. Seven nil on aggregate. There’s no coming back from that. Seven fucking nil. Have it.

Very nice, a couple of grand on it wouldn’t have been too shoddy. 😄

And just think we did that historic double just above their fantastic concourses...

Nothing to do school but the word ‘Comprehensive’ springs to mind today.

If you're going to be the first team to be doubled in this fixture, you'd at least hope that it was 2 competitive games that went right to the wire. Think the 2-2 at Ninian with Allen scoring, the 3-2 win at the Liberty with Pratley's double, or the 2-2 draw with Pintado's equaliser.

Failing that, you'd want at least one of the losses to be to a dodgy penalty or a goal that should blatantly disallowed.

What you really don't want is to lose by a combined score of 7-0, with 4 of those coming in your own stadium! I honestly can't think of many worse ways to be the first team to be 'doubled'.
