A team can be the better team, whilst the other side could have stolen it. We see it all the time.

I'm not saying we were head and shoulders better than them, but we were not the second best side.

Yes we were

Fluke the next win and he will be fist waving at the East Stand again and it'll be lapped up

We are a dreadful team managed by a dreadful manager and run by dreadful owners. Oh and we have a dreadful CEO overseeing day to day operations
welcome to the next level we were promised

Our problem, as usual, is we look tidy through 2/3rds of the pitch but have mistakes at the back (another one today that cost us) and lack the final ball in attack. It looks ok, except for where it really matters. It’s simply a lack of quality - if we had good players who could create, we’d probably be purring about Martin’s approach. As it is, it’s just pointless as we can’t do much with all that possession and he starves us of goal mouth action where we may get a lucky bounce.

In which case Martin as coach should be adjusting and adapting his approach to match the abilities of his players. He fails to do that yet it's what he's paid to do
