• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

    Phil Sumbler

Cullen does need to help him out more, its probably only a matter of time until Ndidi sets up or scores a goal.
No slight on Key, he will be far from the only fullback to be roasted by Ndidi this season.

A goal scored by pure dumb luck.
It would be a lie to say it wasn't coming though we haven't established any control since the minute we went in front.

Brilliant first half from us, very unlucky for their goal but we are giving them a real go. Couldn't be more proud of this team today.

Tremendously disappointing to concede a couple of minutes before half time, but you have to say it was coming. Ironically, having done very little in front of goal for half an hour, we had two fantastic chances to go back in front in the final minute.
I don't know what I would say if I was Duff now. Their two wingers are torturing us and the odds are that Leicester will collect all three points in the second half, but this Swans side have shown they are resilient. We need another second half like we produced against Norwich.

Half time thoughts:

Its been a really enjoyable half of football to watch, when Leicester woke up you could see they were a cut above with their runs and forward play. We had a few half chances to go 2-0 up before the jammiest of equalisers, we responded well to that though and Cullen almost ripped the crossbar off the woodwork with a volley before Darling headed just over at the death.

Need to be on the front foot for the second half and try to bring Yates and Lowe into the game more, when we went in front we failed to establish any control over the game and it felt like a matter of when rather than if they would score.

I thought we were more shaken than them by scoring. We lost a bit of composure and they grew in confidence. Hopefully half time will calm us down. We really could do with getting at their defence. It’s not very good. They do have goals in them though, and they could rip it up if they are allowed to get going. More seriously than my previous prediction, a draw would be excellent, but another competitive 45 would be another massive leap forward. They may well have too much for us, but ‘a Norwich’ is still within our reach with a bit of luck (hopefully we just had our bad luck for today).

I would say, expect the wingers to torture us and concentrate on defending the ball when it comes in. In essence do what Leicester did when they won the PL.

Rushworth's handling so far today has been immaculate fair play.
