Season 24/25 | Stoke City 3 Swansea City 1 | Att: 21,256 | The Official Match Thread | The EFL Championship

He comes on the train from Newport then gets a taxi to Fairwood, and apparently the drivers beg him not to leave us, well I hope they tell him to do one and get a one way ticket back to Newport.
I was also told that the team coach has regularly picked him up and dropped him home from away days. But dismissed it as surely can't be true

Jesus. Who does the cunt think he is?

We could play for 90 more minutes and not score unless it was a fluke (as our first goal was).

Williams has to go now but he has been let down by an absolute lack of any attacking quality at the club. We have no strikers, no wide men that can do anything at all, and no midfield creativity. We simply cannot create anything at all. Zero.

So Williams will go as I said as it’s the only option, but anyone that blames him over the shambles that is the club ownership and management is absolutely insane.

This is all on the head of Coleman. It’s his fault that our last four or five transfer windows have left us in this position. It’s his fault that we have had no director of football to deal with transfers, it’s his fault we can’t get contracts sorted, it’s his fault that the best striker in the pitch today was given away by us.

Absolute disgrace.
I agree Lisa, but I also think they don’t believe in him anymore, if they ever really did. His (and Martins) clockwork football has run its course. I’m choosing my word carefully but he is like a virus at the core of the team, as Coleman is at the core of the club. We’re only going in one direction with either or both.

Don't you dare turn up to the forum with that attitude, you'll be frogmarched forthwith.

Spot on.

We are, which is why he will now have to go. But look at our options and name one player that we have that can change the course of a game. We have a squad that is utter crap.
So all we are left with is looking for someone that can do better with utter crap.

But do I trust Coleman to find them? Absolutely not. He may be lucky, but he hasn’t shown any signs of that as yet either. Perhaps the spreadsheet guy from the lower leagues can do it…

Duff was way better though? We need to accept that.

The team used to actually run and try and we scored quite a few.
If have no inside information, but I always thought that Duff was undermined by the "but he's not Russ" elements in the team, who could only think of playing the way Martin did things and would sulk if it was anything else.

The player I thought was the centre of that has left now, so perhaps we can move on with a new manager.

Don't think it helped Coleman licking his conference/league 2 ass when he wanted him to join by going to his house for tea and biscuits.
Something pretty dark is at play here buddy no mistake. You can't perform in any job like this and carry on regardless.

Well that’s cheered me up.
