• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Bit of a mad debate on Idah and him scoring. Does it really matter? He got the winner and was in the right position, and reacted quickest from the goal keeper being poor and defenders being asleep. We won, got the 3 points. I couldn't care less if he scored every goal this season with his eyes closed. As long as we get the win.

I remember the 5 1 as though it was yesterday. Was sitting in the double decker with my grandfather (where we’d been every game for the 5 years previous) and no one could believe it. It was just a glorious day.

The links have always been strong - Terry Yorath as well of course.
Just over 44 years ago, I was 8 at the time and didn't know anything about Swansea, where it was, even that is was in another country, but the ride has been great and long may it continue.

I'm not trying to be clever, it's just the fact the keeper luckily threw a ball at him 0.1 yards out.. but it's Idah's footballing genius that got that goal

Following up for a striker is to me a bare minimum. Its a very easy thing to do and for certain types of striker its pure laziness for them not to. So credit to Idah for following up this time - there was instances earlier in the season (one obvious one v Forest) when he didn't do it.

I see, you’ve never played the game but you know some people who did.
Look at Welsh league clogger by here, who taught you.. some mouthy prick most probably, there's a lot in the local leagues.. not surprised.. it's all pop penlan jack on here.. the Premier league never knocked on your doors, but you're all armchair experts on here and mouthy ones at that

No, I'm schooled in football by people who played at the pinnacle of the sport.. Smurph is just an average mouthy pr*ck, no wonder he hated that manager he said he wouldn't piss on, I wouldn't piss on him, one mouthy pr*ck
I think most of us will agree we don’t want to piss on our managers or Smurph. Though I’ve heard some people are in to that sort of thing 🤣

Thanks, I was getting rather worried for a brief moment.

You've wounded yourself up.Try logging off for the evening.
Yeah whatever, trying to turn it into somehow it's my fault like you do to numerous posters.. why would I wind myself up arguing with a nobody.. I'm as calm as ever.. how old are you? I'm surprised your wife has stuck around for so long

Knock it on the head, this thread has been ruined enough. I'm out, I suggest you try the same before you get banned, again.
