• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

As others said. Benson will go back. Yalcouye doesn't seem to be impressing Matos based on his comments. First business has to be a defending right back. I would be looking for a number 10, and options to replace Ronald. So 3 signings.

Can't get over how bad Benson has been, has looked dis-interested from day 1.
Him 'warming up' with the other subs on Saturday should tell you all you need to know. I'd send him back now if I could.

I'm also surprised Yalcouye didn't get any minutes on Saturday, when we needed more energy in that 10-15 mins. Big reputation, hasn't delivered.

Could a recall of Florian Bianchini be possible (or worthwhile)?

Ill have pelters again probably but I think Ollie Cooper has something to offer in a Matos team.

There is absolutely no way dead wood like him should be given a sniff back here, hardly pulled up trees in bang average league 1 team. Sooner he is cut the better.

Can see what you mean though in terms of pressing and chasing, but surely Widell can play that role

Parker has looked decent when given an opportunity- now might be his time
I think so too and wrote it here few times, but there might be something behind the scene, maybe Key’s position within the squad hierarchy or something else, that prevents Parker from playing. So sending him on a loan might benefit everyone.

I'd recall Congreave ahead of him. Not even a regular for Portsmouth
better that he takes Benson's place in the squad than taking up a squad place at Portsmouth and he would at least offer another wing/forward option and maybe Matos could get something out of him.

I thought he had a decent press on him when I saw him last season and that could work for Matos

Agree, Bianchini I don't expect to ever be a game-changer, but he strikes me as a very useful physcial asset for a high-pressing side. Modern football systems routinely have 'systems players', who provide little statistically, but suit a manager's intent perfectly; Bianchini might not be the 'perfect' fit for this, but he's lightning quick and always looked to lead the press when we've used him previously. I refuse to believe his net contribution to the squad would be lower than Ronald's
