• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Ronald is a total conundrum. Busts his ass and is fantastic covering for his full back. Which incidentally makes Key seem even worse!
On the other hand his finishing, and particularly crossing is so bad as to be laughable. He literally either chooses the wrong option or executes terribly 95% of the time.
Can you imagine a right footed Tymon getting into some of the positions Ronald wastes?
Surely there are specialist coaches (Tymon himself) who can advise on the right areas to deliver the ball into?
Probably agent talk - but if someone was prepared to pay decent money for him - I would reluctantly accept. Great oro with a 100% commitment- but we need more quality in the final third unfortunately

He can't break into the Wigan starting 11
For me that ship has sailed. He doesn't get a sniff into the Wales squad now and really was only good at drawing fouls. Another player with potential wasted for me.

Let's face it if he was from Brynmawr and not Brazil then he might of been cut from the starting line up a while ago. I want him to succeed, and in my mind he is better than Benson at moment, but if we can get better we should look.

We need to get Connor Roberts back on loan until the end of the season. I believe he's supposed to be fit within the next few weeks.

Can't get over how bad Benson has been, has looked dis-interested from day 1.
Him 'warming up' with the other subs on Saturday should tell you all you need to know. I'd send him back now if I could.
Benson's body language reminds me of Renato Sanches. Everything about him says "I don't want to be here".

We do have Congreve who by all accounts is having a super half season as well as Glory Nzingo who's loan in the US ends next month.

Either of those I would be happy to bring in to fill Benson's place who has not lived up to his hype or reputation at all. He has been thoroughly disappointing every time I have seen him take the field.

Yalcouye finds himself with two similar style of midfielders ahead of him in Franco and Galbraith with the obvious problem being that both of them are our players and both have been positively affecting the team with scoring or creating goals in recent weeks.
Congreve bagged another goal

I don't care how many midfielders we have, we're still missing a decent leader in the middle of the pitch who can actually play football. A significant presence in central midfield, someone who plays with their head up and has the technique to receive the ball and carry it forwards through the middle of the park.

Galbraith is the only footballer we have in midfield and he's needed at right back for now. Even if we move him back to midfield we need more than one footballer in there. Too many busy bees in there who don't have the technique or awareness to drive us forward.

Aside from that there's the obvious Right-back and Right-wing problem.

He ain't missing he's in the dug out
