• Thank you very much | Diolch yn fawr

All at JackArmy.net would like to thank everyone who has played a part on this site over the past 25 years whether that is through writing, contributing, moderating, posting or just visting and reading.

Without any of you the work that has gone into the site would have been pointless and we will always be proud that we built, generated and managed a community that was such a big part of the Swansea City supporting life for so long.

It has been a pleasure to bring to you the site for so long but the time is now right to turn the lights out for the last time but we do it both with a heavy heart and a sense of pride driven by the so many messages received since we announced the closure.

The site will remain here for a period until we archive and mothball it for the last time later this summer but all aspects are in a read only format.

Thank you though for all the memories

Our defence puts me in a serious sweat.

We’re surely never going to hang on to 1-0

Stop giving away corners and we can do it

Corners are a borefest where nothing happens though. Got to laugh at folks getting excited when their side gets one.

Poor? From us? Seriously? I only saw half an hour but apart from a bit of nutterball I thought we were assured, threatening and 1000 times more incisive than I expected.

We looked all over the place for the first ten minutes and even though we scored early we could easily have been 2-0 down by then. Ridiculous I know! We've been really good since then though, Piroe looks much more comfortable up top and Ollie Cooper's playing well. We still look dodgy as hell at the back though so going to need a second to win it I think.

We've been by far and away the better so far, but still, two poor sides.

We have ridden every bit of luck we have so far.

Some changes wouldn't go amiss.

Expecting a sub anytime now.
Looks like Pato gonna come on, hopefully for Fulton and Cooper keeps playing he has been our best player on the pitch.

I’ve been saying it all season, but RM’s use of Piroe as an AM has been asinine and Piroe’s play in his natural striker role today proves it.

Now this begs the question, was RM just foolish or was there something else at play?

Looking forwards we need to build our midfield around Joe and Oli this season based on todays performances. Joe has threaded a few beauties to get us on the front foot and battled through as expected.

It was clearly to try to accommodate him and Obafemi, problem is when both are off the boil then it makes Piroe look like a shadow of the player he is.

Totally right, but there are other ways to accommodate two strikers. Maybe, I don’t know, formations with 2 strikers? Maybe RM has never heard of them….
