Drakeford and Welsh NHS

I know of people, with money, who have found loopholes to get social service funding for their relatives at very expensive nursing homes to avoid using their own funds.

My wife works in Singleton and, as you have mentioned above, laughs at capacity and beds. Gorseinon is a sad shadow of what it was.
Every NHS member has a tale to tell, its black comedy surreal!

Primary care that Drakeford is on about? Is that the buck passing 'primary care' that fills Morriston A+E up to capacity on a relentless basis by turning it into an outsourced G.P surgery?

The one I was told about a guy being send to A+E by his G.P surgery triage, having to wait over a day to be seen to, and then being told by the A+E doctor to go home and contact his G.P surgery instead is not a rare occurrence. It happens ALL the time.

The thing is? G.P surgeries are the ones (the aforementioned patient required these ) with portable ECG's and Holter Monitor's anyhow LOL! The more money that'll go into 'primary care'? The more Morriston A+E will be filled up and the more bed blocking there will be, because there is a bed shortage along with patient care package crisis that is NOT 'primary care' ..... LOL!

Anyway on the subject of the NHS, a workmat of my Mrs was told that she needed an emergency operation to remove her Gallbladder last Monday and she still hasn't had it done and they are just keeping her comfortable , disgusting,
We are waiting currently waiting for a consultation for a pre op on my youngest for him to have his removed, but he has very complex needs so that is a real issue and worry, seems like he's been suffering pain today since the early hours, his stomach is really extended and hard.
We have a telephone appointment on Tuesday and a face to face appointment on Wednesday regarding this issue, so hopefully something will happen after that, not sure if he'll have to have an evasive op of a keyhole op which will be the safest option for him. but with time going on I'm not so sure, but its got to done before it cases other problems if it hasn't already, NHS is a shambles at the minute and we got the senedd wasting 10's of millions on vanity projects.

Insist on answers, Max. If you don’t have confidence that the right people and decision makers are joined up, then also don’t be afraid to step in and be the conduit. I’ve had firsthand experience of having to play this role.

I'm not shy in coming forward Coops, being my age does that, Mrs will be dealing with it as I'll be in work unfortunately.
